The challenge
The café had strong food and ambience, but needed a digital identity that reflected its nostalgic Calcutta roots. The brief was to build local awareness, encourage social engagement and turn online interest into walk-in customers.
Our strategy
We positioned Cafe at Calcutta as a place where heritage meets contemporary café culture. The content centred on Kolkata culture, founder stories, customer experiences, food cinematics, behind-the-scenes moments and seasonal campaigns.
An Instagram-first approach combined local SEO, hyperlocal targeting, festival campaigns and community building. Warm earthy colours, vintage aesthetics, film-like grading, natural light and consistent typography tied the content together.
Creative execution
Food, lifestyle, interior and detail photography supported storytelling reels, customer-experience videos and behind-the-scenes content. Static creatives, carousels, Stories and promotional copy carried the same narrative across formats.
Campaign highlights
- Monsoon Special: celebrating Kolkata’s love for savoury snacks in the rainy season.
- Durga Puja: emotion-driven festive storytelling.
- Kolkata Heritage Series: connecting the city’s iconic culture with the café experience.
- Seasonal menu launches: cinematic visuals for limited-time offerings.
